Masterclass with Pepe Fernandez

Had the privilege of attending a Flamenco masterclass last Saturday (1/27/2018) by Pepe Fernandez sponsored by Solera Flamenca and hosted at MKM Cultural Dance Studio. 

We received detailed explanations on technique and playing falsetas, soleas, and compas.

Also in attendance were well-known performers guitar maestro Jose Tanaka, Manuel Gutierrez (dancer) and Jose Cortez (signer).  They also provided tips on how to perform with dancers and singers.

Lots of great insight and good to hear a different perspective on the music.
